The District Administration of Anantnag has intensified its crackdown on drug peddlers by demolishing 15 illegal structures during a significant enforcement drive at Waghama in Bijbehara district on Saturday. In a coordinated effort, revenue authorities, supported by the police department, demolished illegal constructions, including 15 shops that had sprung up on State and Kahcharai land. These land parcels fall under Khasra Nos. 2494 (min) and 2495 (min) located in Estate Waghama. Officials report that these structures were associated with individuals implicated in violations of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
